The Path

How the Protégé Program Works

01

Apply & Interview

Start with a conversation. We review your background, goals, and fit for the program. If it makes sense for both sides, we move forward.

02

Get Licensed

Complete your Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses. Most candidates finish in 30 days or less using the recommended XCEL program.

03

Begin Production

You start writing business and building your book under the Protégé structure. You receive training, coaching, and support from Shon's district team throughout.

04

Hit Graduation Metrics

Over approximately 12 months, you work toward the production and licensing benchmarks required to graduate. [Shon to confirm current graduation requirements.]

05

Launch Your Agency

Upon successful graduation, the capital requirement to open your own Farmers agency is waived. You transition from Protégé to agency owner.
